Assam Agricultural University (AAU) Jorhat has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 35 Senior Scientist -Cum-Head, Subject Matter Specialist, Farm Manager, Programme Assistant (Lab. Technician), Programme Assistant (Computer) , Assistant, Stenographer Grade III, Driver and Supporting Staff-Grade I Posts under Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVKs) of Assam Agricultural University.

Posts Details -

1. Assistant 

No of Posts - 03

Pay - Rs. 35,000/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Bachelor Degree with Experience.

2. Stenographer Grade III 

No of Posts - 04

Pay - Rs. 25,500/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Bachelor Degree with 6 months Computer Diploma 

3. Driver

No of Posts - 01

Pay - Rs. 21,700/- + GP

Educational Qualification - ▪️HSLC Pass 

▪️ Valid Driving Licence 

▪️ 2 Years Experience of Driving 

4. Supporting Staff 

No of Posts - 02

Pay - Rs. 18,000/- + GP

Educational Qualification - ▪️HSLC Pass or ITI Pass

5. Program Assistant (Computer)

No of Posts - 01

Pay - Rs. 35,400/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Bachelor Degree in the relevant field (Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology) or equivalent from a recognised University,

6. Programme Assistant (Lab Technician)

No of Posts - 03

Pay - Rs. 35,400/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fishery Science / Community Science/ Horticulture/Sericulture from a recognised University.

7. Farm Manager 

No of Posts - 02

Pay - Rs. 35,400/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/Fishery Science / Community Science/ Horticulture/Sericulture from a recognised University.

8. Subject Matter Specialist 

No of Posts - 12

Pay - Rs. 56,100/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Master Degree in Agriculture/Fishery Science / Community Science from a recognised University.

9. Senior Scientist -Cum-Head 

No of Post - 07

Pay - Rs. 1,31,400/- + GP

Educational Qualification - Doctoral Degree in the relevant field of Agriculture/ Animal Science/ Fisheries/Community Science/Horticulture/Sericulture with 8 Years Experience.

Age Limit - 

Maximum Upper Age limit is 40 Years.

# Age Relaxation for the reserved category will be as per norms of the Govt. of Assam.
