Commissionerate of Labour has released a notification for the recruitment of 36 Peon, Driver and Chowkidar under the Commissionerate of Labour, Assam.

1) Peon 

Total no of Posts : 21

Job Location : Guwahati, Nagaon, Diphu, Jorhat, Dibrugrah, Silchar, Titabar, Tinsukia, Barpeta, Karimganj, Lanka, Chaygaon, Kakopathar, Hailakandi, Mangaldoi, Sivasagar .

Pay : Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 52,000/- + GP Rs. 3,900/-

Educational Qualification : Class VIII Passed

2) Driver

Total no of Posts : 07

Job Location : Guwahati, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Jorhat, Sivasagar

Pay : Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- + GP Rs. 5,200/-

Educational Qualification : Applicant must read upto Class-X with Driving License (LMV).

3) Chowkidar

Total no of Posts : 08

Job Location : Guwahati, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Tezpur, Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Golaghat

Pay : Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 52,000/- + GP Rs. 3,900/-

Educational Qualification : Class VIII Passed

Age Limit : 18 Years to 38 Years as on 1st January, 2021.

The relaxation of upper age limit shall be applicable as per Rules to OBC,MOBC,SC,ST.

Objective type Written Test and Driving Test
